Perhaps in reference to his first movie, Bieber stated:
“I’m telling you, people. Everyday we wake up is another blessing. Follow your dreams and don’t let anyone stop you. Never say never.”
On visiting the Anne Frank House museum, Bieber (foolishly) wrote the following in the guest book:
“Truly inspiring. Great girl – hope she would have been a belieber.”
On Christmas Eve, giving his legions of fans a fright, he tweeted
“My beloved beliebers I’m officially retiring.”
Interestingly, this tweet came on the heels of an interview he gave earlier that month when he told LA radio station’s Power 106
“After the new album, I’m actually retiring man.”
Bieber has uttered countless things about girls, women, and dating. Here’s just three:
About Kim Kardashian he said
“I think she’s cute. And, no, she’s not too old for me. Above 40 is a little too old for me.”
“It was like I opened my eyes one day and noticed that the world was full of beautiful girls. And I’ve had a hard time hard time thinking about anything else since then.”
“If I notice a cute girl at the meet-and-greet, I might go and talk to her.”
There are endless numbers of quotes concerning Justin from others. His on-again, off-again girlfriend, Selena Gomez is reported to have texted to him
“U r a drug addict. U need help.”
Many have come to Bieber’s defence, despite run-ins with the law in 2013 and 2014. One example of his supporters, of all people, is embattled Toronto Mayor Rob Ford. Ford knows controversy, as he courts it just about everywhere he goes. On Bieber’s recent problems he said
“He’s a young guy, 19 years old. I wish I was as successful as he was.”
Of course, Bieber’s family have been staunch supporters and fans of the young pop star. His mom, Patricia (Pattie) Mallette, has frequently been quoted in the press. On being the mother to an internationally known star, and on wanting to stay close to him (she does have a home close to him, but doesn’t live with him), she said
“He doesn’t want me in his space so much but he’s doing really well for himself.”
We’ll close with this philosophical quote from Bieber himself, on his fame:
“The blessing is not about being able to receive as much as it is being in a position to give back to others.”
